Epilepsy Trials and Blessings

This blog has been created to bring people together, network, ask questions, and be an overall support to one another.  WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!  It is run by Bella and Courtney.  Bella was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of 14, and it shook our lives up quite a bit.  She is now 19.  You can read a summary of her diagnosis on the JEA website.  We have been on a rollercoaster ever since.  Not everything has been a negative.  We have made extremely strong connections with others just like us, and with the Epilepsy medical community!   We have turned some pretty sour lemons into sweet lemonade.  Many of the posts in this blog will be from the view of the patient (Bella), caregiver... Courtney (mom), or both of us together.   Epilepsy can shake the entire family up so we are hoping to give two points of view through our communications with you!   We are not medical professionals but do know the ins and outs of the epilepsy journey!  Please feel free to comment or ask question at anytime!
